Penticton Racing Canoe Club hosts two major race events per year: Duel in the Desert - an early season six-man and small boat race, and the Length of the Lake 100 km Ultra-Paddle race - one of the longest single day races in North America. PRCC hosts a number of the Okanagan Small Boat Racing Series throughout the Valley with the Vernon and Kelowna Clubs. Once a year at the Penticton Raymond James Dragon Boat Festival, outrigger paddlers also form a unique temporary dragon boat team called O'kaiI'Kika U'as (sound it out).
